COCKTAILS ARE LIKE PEOPLE. Some are tall, short, light, dark, sour and some are sweet but they are all unique and interesting. This page is filled with delicious libations tried, tested and approved by our taste-ologists. It took years of drinking and tasting and drinking and drinking a bit more but our love for you never ebbs, we have dedicated ourselves to delivering delicious cocktails for you to enjoy with your friends.

SoJito (Se-Hee-Tow)

Grab a tall thin (Collins) glass and muddle ½ oz fresh squeezed lime juice with 1 tsp. superfine sugar.

Add three to four mint leaves, mushing them against the side of the glass with a long spoon.

Fill glass 2/3 with cracked ice and pour in 1.5oz of delicious SoCal Platinum rum.

Pitch in the squeezed-out lime shell and top off with club soda or seltzer water.

ENJOY!

SoCal Dreamsicle

This refreshing summer cocktail will blow the tops off the heads of your guests, so make them at your own risk! Ever had an Orange Julius? It’s like that but on steroids. We served these at a marathon event and after downing a few, the runners were lounging in chairs and telling each other how much they love running, life, chairs, etc.

Grab an industrial blender 

Add 5 cups of ice

Add 1.5 cups of amazing SoCal Platinum rum

Add 2 cups of California orange juice

Add 1 cup vanilla smoothie mix 

Blend until smooth or until you can’t stand waiting any longer.

Pour evenly into 1-6 glasses, garnish with an orange wedge. Serve and stand back as the head explosions begin! 

SoCalada

Pull out a blender

Fill 1/3 full with crushed ice

Add 2oz cream of coconut

Add 2oz crushed pineapple (canned or fresh)

Add 1.5oz of amazing SoCal Platinum Rum

Blend until smooth then pour into one of those cool Pina Colada glasses

Top with 1/2oz of SoCal Spiced rum or a dark rum

Add a wedge of fresh pineapple as a garnish and serve this winner!

SoCal Daiquiri

This classic is our Master Distiller’s favorite!  Beg, borrow or steal a cocktail shaker 

Add about six ice cubes and an equal amount of CRUSHED ice (This is the secret to a great Daiquiri)

Add 1.5oz of amazing SoCal Platinum rum

Add 3/4oz of fresh lime juice

Add 1/2oz of simple syrup 

Shake well.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and blow everyone’s mind with this sassy, sexy and simple drink! 

SoCaliente

 This spicy little number requires a monogrammed cocktail shaker and strong arms. Buckle up, you’re in for a treat! 

In the shaker add:

1oz SoCal Platinum

1oz Triple Sec

1/2oz Rose’s Lime Juice

Squeeze 1/4 fresh lime

6.9 cubes of ice

Dash of  Sriracha

(multiply by the number of friends in your visual proximity)

Cap, shake like you’re facing the best 3 set you’ve ever seen, and pour directly into the glasses without spilling a drop.  Serve on a tray…or multiple trays because you have so many friends.

Snow Cone MaiTai

This Mai Tai comes to us from craft mixologist Sam Holleman who is a total rockstar when it comes to making amazing drinks! The trick with this drink is getting the ice/snow cone to mix ratio perfect. We find that a shaved ice ball around 3″ in diameter works well but feel free to experiment. OK, here we go:

Grab a glass. Not just any ordinary glass but something special, like one of those cool, curvy hurricane glasses and add, in order:

1.5oz SoCal Platinum Rum

1oz Pineapple Juice

3/4 oz Orgeat Syrup

1/2 oz Lime

1/2 oz blue curaçao

1/2 oz Macadamia liqueur

1/2 oz Dark rum float

Top with a scoop (or handful for you heathens) of crushed ice to form a snow cone like top. Top with a good dark rum and a drizzle of grenadine. Garnish with a cherry and fresh fruit.

Serve and smile as your guests stare back at you in amazed bewilderment!

SoCal Sunset

Grab that “borrowed” cocktail shaker

Add 12oz fresh squeezed orange juice

Add 3oz of incredible SoCal Platinum Rum

Stir to mix

Fill two tall thin (Collins) glasses with ice

Pour 2/3 of the orange juice mixture evenly into the two glasses and set aside

Pour 2 Tbsp of grenadine into the cocktail mixer with remaining orange juice mix

Stir to mix

Slowly pour into each glass so it settles on the bottom for that “sunset look”

Garnish with lime slices

Kick your feet up and watch the sunset as you enjoy this well earned refreshment!

SoCal Mai Tai

Carve a highball glass out of love

Fill with hard, cold water…something like ice and add:

1.5oz of delicious SoCal Platinum Rum

1oz Triple Sec

Splash of Amaretto

2oz Orange Juice

1oz Pineapple Juice

A squeeze of Lime

Stir like mad and top with Kraken Dark Rum and a drizzle of grenadine

Garnish with Cherry, Orange and a Mint Leaf.

Serve and smile as your guests stare back at you in amazed bewilderment!
